Hi,
I don’t usually read psychological thrillers but Maggie James’s novella, Blackwater Lake, had me hooked from the first page. It was what I describe as an involuntary one session read because once you start reading, it’s impossible to put down.
I thought Blackwater Lake was a terrific read and here follows my five-star Amazon review.
“Brilliant
It is hard to believe that Blackwater Lake is only 93 pages. I finished it in one session and I suspect even if it had been 300 pages that would’ve been the case.
It’s a gripping story and it is amazing that the author could pack so much suspense and so many twists and turns into such a short book. Needless to say I loved it and found it impossible to put down.
Maggie James is a fine author. If you’re looking for a short, enthralling read, you can’t go past Blackwater Lake.”

I’m always on the lookout for a good read, preferably white collar crime or law. If you’ve read anything that you think I’d enjoy, please shoot me an email.
Cheers and good reading,
