Hi all,
I’m pleased to be able to promote and recommend Dave Stanton’s Stateline: A hard-boiled crime novel and better still, it’s my favorite price … it’s FREE in the U.S., and U.K. Here’s the link http://goo.gl/HuaT7p and all you need to is click, and then click BUY, and it’s yours.
“When a tycoon’s son is murdered the night before his wedding, the enraged and grief-stricken father offers private detective Dan Reno (that’s Reno, as in no problemo), a life-changing bounty to find the killer. Reno, nearly broke, figures he’s finally landed in the right place at the right time. It’s a nice thought, but when a band of crooked cops get involved, Reno finds himself not only earning every penny of his paycheck, but also fighting for his life.”
I’m sure you’ll enjoy Stateline and here follows my review:
“Stateline is a breezy, enjoyable read and the writer skilfully develops the characters and plot.
It is set in beautiful Lake Tahoe where I was skiing ten years ago (I’m an Aussie) and the author’s descriptions brought back fond memories.
I never disclose a plot in a review because I feel it may ruin the book for future readers. I can say that the plot is cleverly played out and as a reader it kept me wanting to read more … always the key to a good book.
Dave Stanton has that indefinable quality that all good authors are blessed with – the ability to make readers want to read one more page when they should be asleep.”
I hope you enjoy Stateline as much as I did,
Peter
